RP Infosystems Limited's E-Waste Management and Recycling Initiative
E-Waste for short - or Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) - is the term used to describe old, end-of-life or discarded electrical appliances. It includes computers, consumer electronics etc., which have been disposed off by their original users.
In India, the state of the art recycling facilities for E-Waste are yet to be established. RP Infosystems Limited believes that the producers of electronic goods are responsible for facilitating an environmental friendly disposal, once the product has reached the end of its life.
Recognising the need to minimise the hazardous impact of E-Waste on the environment, RP Infosystems Limited has formulated a comprehensive programme for the recovery and recycling of WEEE in an environmentally safe manner. RP Infosystems Limited has been working on an easy, convenient and safe programme for recycling of E-Waste nationwide.
